Root canal therapy involves removing the infected nerve and pulp, cleaning of the root canals then filling and sealing them. Without root canal treatment, the bone surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses and swellings may form which can be very painful and in severe cases, life threatening.

Root canal treatment gives your tooth a second chance and lets you maintain your natural tooth instead of having it removed.
